MARKETING OFFICERS – Ref: 2010/01/MO
Job Scope
• Supporting the sales team in attaining the monthly as well as annual targets
• Prepare and present accurate status reports to management.
• Operates with management and clients to determine business requirements
• Resolves all complex inquires from the clients and ensures customer satisfaction
• Communicating with Depot Managers for status of order and position of sales
• Preparing monthly, weekly or daily sales analysis in order to increase productivity of sales
• Updating the status of sales order in the database.
Requirements
• HND/B.sc in Sales/Marketing or related discipline
• 3-5 years experience in fast moving consumables
• Not more than 32 years by June 30, 2010
• Should exert sound judgment, discretion and preserve confidentiality
• Excellent polite and persuasive communication skills.
• Consciously treat every local and international business associates as a valued customer essential to the success of the company

- To undertake any reasonable duties at the request of the manager.
- To assist with the implementation of the marketing strategy with specific objectives and targets as agreed.
- To support the overall marketing objectives of company both externally and internally.
- To take responsibility for originating and planning campaigns in conjunction with the Marketing.
- To develop promotional opportunities and ideas from conception through to delivery.
- Supply sufficient information to the manager to enable effective budgetary control of specific areas of activity.
Requirements
- Must possess excellent communication and persuasive skills.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and people-management skills.
- Must have strong presentation and reporting skills.
- Must also be strategic, anticipating the needs of the clients.
- BSc degree in Marketing, social science or a related field.
- Not more than 27 years of age.
