Adexen is recruiting for a client- A world leader in FMCG household, health and personal care, is looking for an Export Sales Manager to oversea its sales, marketing and distribution operations for its Francophone West African activities.

Job description
The Export Sales Manager is responsible for effective management of appointed Distributors in Francophone West Africa. He will work with distributor sales force to achieve the agreed sales and commercial objectives within approved budgetary limits.  The candidate will also be responsible for the execution of all agreed plans, 4Ps and other initiatives within the key trade channels.
Manages all Business Development activities for the Group in Francophone West Africa, Leads all development and implementation of sales and commercial strategies, which focuses on increasing Group’s presence in all Francophone West African States and strengthening Group’s channels of trade.
He will report to the Sales Director West Africa.
The position is based in Lagos

Responsibilities

* Prospects and recommends Distributors for appointment in the region
* Create and Develop the market in Francophone Countries in West Africa
* Develop and manage sustainable  distribution network for Group’s products
* Deliver all agreed targets on Net Revenue, In Market Sales, Numeric Distribution and other KPIs
* Lead in the execution of new product launches to achieve sales and 4P  targets
* Deliver visibility and merchandising of Group brands within the geography
* Compile and submit all required reporting on time
* Train, Coach & manage Sales team to deliver on set Sales objective.
* Identify and harness sales development opportunities within area of coverage.
* Provide bottom up  sales forecasts
* Gather and analyze market intelligence report.
* Identify new business opportunities and Undertake marketing activities
* Undertake Geographical and portfolio expansion.
* Develop and manage client relationship for both confirmed and potential customers
Qualifications et experience
* Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales/ Marketing in FMCG Company
* University degree from a recognized University
* Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
* Good grasp of sales and marketing strategies and planning issues
* Previous work experience in Francophone West Africa will be an added advantage
* Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivated
* Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
* Excellent command in French Language
