SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES (HR) ASSISTANT
(2-year renewable contract)
DUTIES
Successful candidate will among other things:
- Assist to coordinate Internationally Recruited Staff (IRS) recruitment process;
- Issue contract letter/contract extension/relocation/termination letters for all IRS;
- Keep IRS records and maintain effective filing system;
- Prepare monthly payroll advice;
- Assist HRM to induct new IRS;
- Liaise with Travels Unit for visa for the new IRS;
- Assist HRM to handle IRS disengagement process;
- Provide administrative support to the HRM;
- Assist HRM to coordinate IRS Performance Appraisal exercise;
- Prepare announcements in the IITA weekly bulletin about new staff;
- Advise HRM quarterly on termination dates of IRS contracts and the arrival dates of new IRS.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
BSc/HND in Humanities, Management and Social Sciences with 8 years relevant working experience. Familiarity with administrative, secretarial skills and International NGOs is essential.
He/She must have sound analytical mind, high integrity, good inter- personal and communication skills (oral and written); strong knowledge of computer softwares and be willing to work beyond normal hours.
