Adexen: Assistant Supply Manager Vertice

Adexen is recruiting for a client – an international FMCG group is looking for an Assistant Supply Manager Vertice for its supply chain department.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate will be responsible for covering all local supplier development, value improvement and innovation programmes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Provide the required and accurate information to internal customers on prices, cost drivers, supplier intelligence to support internal decision making and innovation
·  Leading the Supplier development program – Vertice Plus
·  Leading Material Efficiency and Value Improvement Programme.
·  He or she will also interact with Regional Material /Category supply managers and the capabilities team
·  He/she must be able to jointly work with colleagues and team to develop good and credible suppliers to partner with the organisation in its growth agenda.
·  Develop and maintain a good knowledge of local supply market
·  Play an active role in cost saving initiatives and innovation Projects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
·  A university graduate with at least 3 years experience in a similar purchasing role and 5 years management experience in any area of management
·  A working knowledge on projects management
·  Experience in FMCG industry
·  Self motivated and proactive person with a positive sense of urgency and has a strong work ethics
·  Stable and progressive career – no job hoppers.
·  Must possess demonstrable and measurable success in a similar role
