Adexen: TPM / PIM Program Manager

Adexen is recruiting for a client – a leading supplier of FMCG quoted on the NSE is looking to employ an Company Total Productive Maintenance / Productivity Improvement Program Manager for its supply chain department.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
·  Monitors and ensures optimum utilisation of machines, manpower, materials, energy and all other manufacturing resources
·  Undertake continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste improve performance and reduce cost.
·  Co-ordinate TPM implementation programmes for the organization and ensure achievement of all key objectives and milestones.
·  Provide resources, support and guidance in TPM implementation methodology and application to the TPM Area Committees and Facilitators
·  Ensure development and implementation of TPM Training Programmes aimed at building adequate skills and competencies in operatives to make them capable to deliver Business needs and objectives.
·  Agrees TPM Implementation Plans and key objectives with the TPM Area Committees and reviews progress of implementation of the plans and achievement of the objectives
RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Determine targets in the major manufacturing KPI’s for all production dept./ lines and agrees same with the manufacturing and line managers
·  Ensures daily production data collection and analysis, and issuance of the daily production volume report
·  Reviews the weekly & monthly performance reports with the manufacturing and line managers and puts in place action plans for improvement
·  Develops and reviews TPM Master Plan and key objectives and ensures implementation of the plan and achievement of the objectives) Provides resources, support and guidance in TPM
·  Carries out TPM promotion, disseminate information and communicate TPM programmes and benefits
·  Ensures the design and delivery of  TPM Training modules and programmes
·  Provides appropriate TPM Training logistics and facilities, including shop floor demonstration
·  Train or organise training for subordinates to build adequate skills in them
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
·  A first degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering
·  Previous experience in FMCG/ Oil sector
·  Minimum of 3 years work experience
·  Stable and progressive career – no job hoppers
·  Must possess demonstrable and measurable success in a similar role
·  Must have the personal experience of all skills required in this profession
·  Must demonstrate an ability to communicate at all levels and show leadership skills
